In The Media

For many years during the 1990s Nick Child collected clippings from newspapers that had anything to do with families and systems and services. He would then set about composing a "Media Column" for the AFT magazine Context, often following through some aspect or theme. The idea was to sustain a window and awareness for the field of families and systems, how the media influenced everything, and to show how widely the field of systems could stretch (given the tendency to a narrow specialism and profession). It was a bit like doing a mini-PhD every few months! There might be some value in putting up a complete collection of these Media Columns here. There's a lot of them! But for now this is just a sample of some with some special interest in them.
